The problem
I wanted to invest in Philippine stocks by finding companies trading below their worth, but the public data for many of them was incomplete.
What I built
A Python tool that estimates each stock’s intrinsic value with Benjamin Graham’s formula and my own modifications. When an input such as the P/E ratio is missing, it derives it or reweights the formula.
What happened
I used it to choose stocks through 2019 and 2020, and the portfolio more than doubled.
