About

Since 2015

I started with chess, moved to robotics and research, and now work where business problems meet technology. The habit has stayed the same: understand what is in play, then build what moves it.

  1. 2015 – 2016

    Chess competitor

Chess taught me to lay out what is in play, what we can do, and which move is best in the long term rather than the short. I still work through problems that way, and time pressure does not rattle me.

  2. 2016 – 2022

    Robotics and research competitor

I built an automated sewage canal system that removes waste and sends SMS alerts, and an RFID payment system that ran in our school canteen for two weeks. I started the RFID project knowing nothing about how to build it, and learned by researching and with the first AI coding tools.

  3. 2019 – 2020

    Markets

During the pandemic I built a Python tool that screened Philippine Stock Exchange stocks for value. Markets taught me that if you pay attention to data, sooner or later it tells you its secrets.

  4. 2021 –

    Founder and coach

I began helping younger students in 2021, founded CYBERS, my school’s robotics club, in 2022, and have coached formally since 2024. I started because a team needed someone, and I stayed because I like solving problems for people. In 2026 a team I mentored competed at the World Robot Olympiad in San Francisco.

  5. 2023 –

    Business and tech

    Build for those who multiply.

At A+ Solutions I handle proposals, bidding and IT. I wrote the procurement materials and cost computations for a robotics laboratory that DOST funded, and for a bid to DTI. I also placed in the top 10 of DICT’s eGovPH Hackathon and placed first at ASES Manila with PocketPatient.

  6. 2026

    Backend internship

From August to September 2026 I was a backend engineer intern at a startup that trains marketing affiliates, where I worked on its learning management system.
